OPENING PRAYER
(To be spoken before the music begins. Hold a balloon at chest level. Speak slowly and warmly.)

Thank You for this new day You have given us.
Thank You for bringing us together with smiles, music, and joy.
As we sing and move, remind us that our lives are safely held in Your hands.
Help us feel Your peace, Your love, and Your nearness right now.
We give this moment to You,
and we thank You for holding each one of us.

“He’s got the whole world in His hands…”
[STAGE DIRECTION]
Hold the balloon in both hands.
Stretch arms outward and slowly move the balloon in a large circular motion, as if showing the whole world.
(Smile. Make eye contact.)
VERSE 1
“He’s got the little bitty baby…”
[STAGE DIRECTION]
Cradle the balloon like a baby.
Gently rock side to side.
(Optional soft sway of the body.)
CHORUS
“He’s got the whole world in His hands…”
[STAGE DIRECTION]
Return to the large circular motion with the balloon, lifting it slightly higher this time.
VERSE 2
“He’s got you and my brother…”
[STAGE DIRECTION]
Turn to a partner (cast member or nearby resident if appropriate).
Gently tap the balloon back and forth together.
(Laughs and smiles encouraged.)

Hold balloon high, then slowly lower it back to chest level in a circular motion.

Carefully and gently tap or roll the balloon toward residents.
If residents are unable to participate, simply hold the balloon near them and smile or nod.
FINAL CHORUS

All participants hold balloons close to their hearts.
Sway gently from side to side.
