OPENING PRAYER

“Dear God,
Thank You for this day and for bringing us together.
Thank You for our country and for the freedom we enjoy.
As we sing today, help our hearts remember You —
the One who blesses us, protects us, and fills us with joy.
May all we do honor You and bring hope to one another.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.”

- All cast stand facing the residents
- Right hand placed over heart
- Sing slowly
- Maintain eye contact and gentle smiles

- Hold flags proudly

Children stand still, holding Bibles quietly in front of them.

“Jesus loves me, He who died, Heaven’s gate to open wide…”

- Children enter or begin moving
- Hold Bibles up, then down
- Walk slowly in a square formation
VERSE 3
“Jesus take this heart of mine…”
[STAGE DIRECTION]
- Children gently place Bibles in the center of the floor
- Walk in a circle around the Bibles
- Sway back and forth as they walk
VERSE 4
“Yes, Jesus loves me…”

- Children pick up their Bibles
- Lift them up once, then lower them
- End with Bibles held close to the chest
CLOSING PRAYER
(To be spoken after the final song. Cast remains among the residents.)

Thank You for every life here and for the blessings You give us.
Bless our residents, their families, and all who serve them.
